CARE & MAINTENANCE

EVA marine flooring is a low maintenance product, but like anything, proper care and maintenance will extend the life of your deck. Combining fish guts & blood, sunscreen, rusty hooks, footwear, food & drinks is always going to be a messy affair. To keep your deck clean we recommend giving it a rinse off after each use, and if necessary you can safely use an all purpose cleaner, degreasers, dish soap, vinegar, or diluted bleach with a medium bristled brush on your U-Dek. Refer to our cleaning guide for specific instructions.

LIGHT AMPLIFICATION

Although Ultralon Decking is UV rated and designed to handle the Australian environment, under certain conditions temperatures can well exceed the operational temperature of 80°C, which can potentially lead to light amplification damaging your deck. In Northern regions of Australia where temperatures are consistently high, extra attention to care should be taken to avoid light amplification.

Reducing long term exposure to the elements when not in use will help extend the life of your decking and reduce colour fade. For more details on light amplification, refer to our care guide.
